Speaker: Bob Krist, Artsbridge Speaker Series, Prallsville Mill
Awarded "Travel Photographer of the Year" from the Society of American Travel Writers in 1994, 2007, and 2008. In 2000 his work was honored at the Eisenstaedt Awards for Magazine Photography in New York City. He lectures in Washington DC as part of the ongoing "Live at the National Geographic" series.
He teaches photo workshops for the Maine and Santa Fe Photo Workshops, National Geographic Expeditions, and Linblad Expeditions.
A former professional actor, Bob hosted Nature's Best Photography, a 13-part series for National Wildlife Productions on the Outdoor Life Network, and Photography Close Up, one of Cablevision's "MagRack" series. Currently, he can be seen as the host of the PBS special Restoration Stories.

Welcome to the Artsbridge Photo Group! Artsbridge is an energetic group of painters, sculptors, photographers, writers, actors, musicians and filmmakers, gathering together on a volunteer basis to:
- Provide a better public understanding of the arts in all the creative disciplines.
- Make the arts available to all segments of the community through education, exhibition and performance.
- Nurture local, state and regional arts and artists, enhancing communications among and between artists and providing artists with a greater opportunity to have their work displayed or otherwise exposed to the public.
- Promote quality and professionalism in the arts.
- Fostering communication and networking within the arts community.
- Avail and administer all services and policies to all people of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, age or physical status.
- Finally to provide the community information concerning the arts in the form of seminars, community programs and any other informational media.
